EDDINGTON DISCOVERY DAY JUNE 15

Eddington is hosting a day of free tours and activities at the Eddington Discovery Day.

As well as tours of the Energy Centre and Eddington's ecology, children, families and people of all ages can drop in for between 10am – 4pm and have a go at activities including badge making, art and crafts, storytelling, beeswax wrap making and toy swaps.

You can also test your pedal power with smoothie bikes, a pedal powered jukebox and have a go at riding different pedal powered machines.

EDDINGTON WINS RIBA EAST AWARDS HAT TRICK

The Royal Institute for British Architects (RIBA) East presented three RIBA East Regional Awards to the North West Cambridge Development for outstanding designs and masterplanning at Eddington.

The prizes were awarded for the overall masterplan developed with AECOM, the sports pavilions designed by Robin Lee Architecture and residential, energy centre and retail units designed by architects Wilkinson Eyre and Mole.

The RIBA East awards highlight quality architecture across the region with winners going on to compete in the national RIBA awards for the coveted RIBA Stirling prize.

EDDINGTON HOUSING WINS ECO-LIVING AWARD

Athena, the market housing for sale at Eddington, has won an award for its environmental credentials.

The development, created by Hill, won the Eco-Living Award at the Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2019. 

The homes, ranging from studio apartments to four bedroom family homes, are exemplar period homes designed for the twenty-first century.
