CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS AT EDDINGTON

The second Christmas in Eddington event saw approximately 400 people come to take part in festive activities. 

The December 11 event saw wreath making, Christmas crafts and facepainting for children. The event was complete with a special appearance from Father Christmas and carol singing around the tree.

The free event was hosted by the local authorities’ Community Development team in partnership with the Storey’s Field Centre and the University’s North West Cambridge Development team.

EDDINGTON CONTINUES AWARDS WINS

Eddington continues to scoop prizes in the winter awards season.

The Storey’s Field Centre and Eddington Nursery won two titles at the Architects' Journal Architecture Awards 2018: the Design of the Year and the Community & Faith Project of the Year. It was also named a winner of the Civic Trust Awards 2019.

Meanwhile Swirles Court, the post-graduate student accommodation at Eddington, was named Property Week's University Halls of Residence of the Year.

Eddington Feel Good Festival

The festival will provide free activities including Yoga, Piloxing, Jazzercise, health talks and Gong Relaxation sessions.

At the Storey’s Field Centre the community can take part in everything from ballet to woodwork. There are new community groups open to all.
