EDDINGTON UPDATE

As summer comes to a close Eddington is gearing up for the new academic year with the arrival of another intake of students to Swirles Court, additional residents moving in and the opening of the Eddington Nursery in the coming weeks and months. 

The Eddington team is also preparing for Open Eddington 2018, a fantastic day of public events including tours, architecture talks and archaeological digs on 15 September. You can get a flavour of Open Eddington on this short film.

OPEN EDDINGTON: SEPTEMBER 15, 2018
This year’s Open Cambridge weekend will once again showcase Cambridge’s new district, Eddington. 

The day includes over 25 different events led by the renowned architects, professionals, and development partners who have all contributed to creating Eddington.

The Open Cambridge weekend takes place on 14-15 September, with Open Eddington on Saturday 15 September 2018.

CAMBRIDGE MP IS ‘GEARED UP‘ FOR EDDINGTON NUMBER CHALLENGE
Daniel Zeichner, MP for Cambridge, is gearing up to join the Eddington Number Challenge to help promote cycling amongst Cambridge residents.

Nearly 150 cyclists are taking part in the campaign, based around the Eddington number for cycling.

Your Eddington Number is the largest number of miles you have cycled or walked for a consistent number of individual days.

NEW PUBLIC ARTWORK AT EDDINGTON
A new public artwork at Eddington has been unveiled. Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain, by David Batchelor, is in Community Square outside the Storey’s Field Centre at Eddington.
